Ash Harker is skilled at her job as a professional bodyguard. She’s former military, but she also has a secret romantic streak a mile wide. She’s just always known that true love is for other people—people with fewer scars than she has.
Serena Davenport has clawed her way to the top of the business world, and with a successful company to run, she has no time for love. But when Serena finds herself the target of a stalker and needs someone to keep her safe, the bodyguard who shows up at her door looks startlingly familiar…
One terrible date a few weeks ago was something both Ash and Serena swore to put behind them. But now, unexpectedly, they’re forced back into each other’s lives. The date may have been a disaster, but the scorching hot attraction between them is undeniable.
With a murderous criminal on their trail, they can’t afford any distractions—and what’s more distracting than love?
My most recent novel, Falling for You, has just been released as an audio book! Listen to the story of Charlie and Francesca as the two women compete as partners on a reality TV show and try not to fall into the doomed trap of “contestants in love”…or at least not get caught doing so.

I really, really enjoyed this book. Each chapter switched between the two main characters, and I thought that was very effective. It took me a while to warm up to Celeste, but the layers of her personality were revealed over the course of the first several chapters and that helped me understand her better. She and Lane were both well-rounded and I soon found it easy to sympathize with them.
The Mediterranean setting was beautiful and evocative, and I enjoyed the way scenes hopped between ports as the yacht visited them. I was also very much caught up in the complex push and pull of Celeste and Lane’s relationship. There’s an event near the end that I found pretty sudden (I’m trying to be vague to avoid spoilers), and it pulled me out of the story a little. I was looking forward to finding out how Celeste and Lane were going to navigate the the challenges they were facing with each other, and that event kind of gave them an easy way out.
Still, I really got caught up in the characters and their journey, and I was ultimately happy with how everything turned out. It was a great read!

Hi everyone! Happy February 🙂 This month my next book, Guarding Her Heart, will be released. I made some teasers using lines from the book, and I’ll be posting them here and on my Facebook page. I’m in love with this story and these characters, so I can’t wait to release them into the world 🙂
Ash is former military and works as a bodyguard now. She’s stubborn and gruff, and she’s pretty sure she’ll never be able to charm a woman. She thinks she has zero chance of ever finding love, even though she’s got a secret romantic streak a mile wide. The one time she puts herself out there, it ends in disaster.
Serena is a rising star in the business world and has spent her whole career learning to never show weakness. She’s too busy for romance and she gets cold feet whenever things progress past the physical anyway. She’s just as stubborn as Ash, but then she starts getting threats and she’s forced to let somebody else take control of her life for a while.
And they fight crime! (Well, sort of.) Does anyone else remember that character generator website, They Fight Crime? It would spit out random descriptions of a crime-fighting duo, like “He’s a washed-out Australian puppeteer with LSD flashbacks who farms goats. She’s a fast-talking champion pumpkin pie-eater who’s on the run from the mafia. And they fight crime!”
Back when I was in college (oh god how many years ago?) my friends and I used to have a blast using that for writing prompts 🙂 Anyway, here are the first two teasers!
Hi everyone! An audio book of my most recent release, Falling For You, is coming out soon! I had a great time writing this novel and I think makes a really fun audio book. Look for lots of excitement as two ladies–Francesca and Charlie–compete as a team on a reality TV show that put them together because of how very different they are. The worst thing you can do on a show like this is fall for your partner, right?
The audio book of Falling For You should be available in a week or so 🙂
If reading is more your style, give the ebook or paperback a try! It’s available on Kindle Unlimited for free 🙂
One of the things I like the most about writing novels is that I’m always learning things about the craft. With every book I write, I get closer to portraying women and their love stories the way I hope I can. In talking to my publisher at Rose and Star Press, we came to the conclusion that The Makeover Challenge wasn’t a fitting title for the novel. It tells readers that the most important thing about the book is the reality TV series the characters participate in; but that’s not even close to the truth. The most important thing is how Charlie and Francesca fall in love and, together, overcome the things holding them back.
So it’s with pleasure that I introduce the re-release: Falling For You.
Who expects to fall in love on reality TV?
Certainly not Miss Charlie Vega, a burnt-out designer in desperate need of inspiration. Neither does Francesca Davies, a rock-climbing internet celebrity with an overbearing family. The two of them audition to compete on a hit reality TV series for very different reasons, but when they get paired up as a team, the road to victory gets a lot more complicated.
They have almost zero in common, but their fiery chemistry is immediate and intense. With their complicated baggage, neither is exactly ready for love, but they’re certainly not averse to some steamy encounters…that are bound to get them into hot water.
Could they even make a real relationship work on a show that’s actually nothing like reality?
I really, really enjoyed this novel by Giselle Fox. I’ve read two of her other novels (the standalone ones) and I liked them a lot, but this one was just
Falling for Lucky by Giselle Fox
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I’ve really liked the other books of Giselle Fox’s that I’ve read, but this one was just phenomenal. I started out thinking the series of events that kick off the story were a little too unbelievable, but soon I realized that that was the point. There’s a thread of luck and fate and weird coincidences that runs through the whole novel. It was very appealing and everything came back around and was tied up nicely at the end, which is something I really like in a story.
The setting was utterly gorgeous; Giselle Fox must really love Italy 🙂 I could practically feel the hot weather and taste the food and smell the gardens, and it was just very satisfying. The romance between Juliet and Leoni is beautiful, well-paced, and free from drama. The only thing that brought me out of the story occasionally were some really weird euphemisms during the sex scenes (“center seam” for the vulva? Seriously?? I guess I sew too much clothing for that to sound sexy…) but otherwise, the writing was very good. And the end was so, so romantic. It was a real happy ending to daydream about.
